Lucy Blitz

Over July and August 2024, I worked as a content creator during The Hundred, embedded within the London Spirit women's team. Working for Two Circles, I was responsible for capturing on-the-ground content in order to bring fans closer to the team across the competition.

While travelling and working with the team, I contributed reels, stills, and stories for the Instagram page, showcasing the team at their best. This meant developing a personal relationship with players and staff, which allowed me to capture brilliant moments including Final's Day on which London Spirit were eventually victorious.

The role developed my ability with various software (including Slate, CapCut, Canva and Instagram itself) and required a fast-thinking approach, from which I was able to produce consistent content and increase the page's interactions across my time with Spirit.

Alongside my work experience, I have used TikTok as a platform to develop my content creation skills. 

With a focus on sport and travel, I create mini match-day vlogs and my journey in sports media as a way of learning to navigate platforms such a this. I have experience using CapCut, Procreate, Canva, Slate, and other platforms as a result.
